Blue Tigers Eye Sphere - 4.6cm - 138gm
Appearance: Deep blue to blue-grey with a silky, chatoyant (cat’s eye) sheen; may display golden flashes under light
Composition: Silicon dioxide (SiO₂) with crocidolite (a fibrous form of riebeckite) inclusions that have been replaced by quartz through a pseudomorphic process — the quartz retains the fibrous structure, creating the shimmering, chatoyant effect known as “cat’s eye.”
Hardness: 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale
